The Apocalypse 2012 Is A Myth According To NASA, And The World Will Still Be Here 2013!

All of the fear and hype of the world ending with the Mayan Calendar is a myth according to NASA. See the link and read the information in detail at the website connection, from the end of my article. Man will never be able to predict the end of the world, nor the coming of the Lord. Religious and secular scientists have tried to do this for centuries. The Bible gave 'the times and seasons", but never a day or year.
All the lore of man's predictions become another failure, this year too will be just as normal, with our hurricanes, twisters, floods, and fires as always. That is a weather interaction not yet known. We may do somewhat worse in places, but the world is not ending, unless God has it on his private agenda.
The stock market volatility may be another story. We must have millions of new jobs or else! Government cannot sustain the path it is on, that's a prediction! Decisions will have consequences, so it will be dependent on the next few government decisions, as to where we end up at the end of 2012 financially.
The Mayans were never intending for people to buy into an Apacolypse scenario for December 21, 2012! They did say some major change would take place, but it was relevant to their calendar and their culture, time, and place.
Fear has a way of bending people all out of shape, and that's how we are easily controlled by those who have the media control, and those who had agendas they wanted to push, or products they wanted to sell.
“NASA info on Mayan Myth was published today!”
I would be more concerned of a financial tightening, which may create tension among families because of the loss of more jobs, if we do not get serious about creating an atmosphere for businesses and individual entrepreneurs.
There will, no doubt be some appearance of a recovery in the housing market in the Spring, and some sales of properties in a few areas. Will it last...that depends on the decisions made at the levels of the White House, and Congress. We will know by the end of summer, after the decisions have been made and implemented. We are on a roller coaster ride.
No, I have no clue about the election.

Their are also marginal people in fields of astronomy, geology, and other "disciplines" who hold for the 12/21 scenario. Your article is right on! Good job. Please log in to respond to this comment. Thanks, and yours was too....fear mongers spread a lot of anxiety to those easily persuaded..Please log in to respond to this comment.
NASA has been proven to be untrustworthy in their issued statements over the years.
Man has been trying to predict the end of time since the beginning of time- and will never cease doing so, it seems. Really good article Elle- I enjoyed reading it- Thanks- Always EllaPlease log in to respond to this comment. Thanks Ella...NASA agreed with most other articles I read who rejected the Apocolypse, but their article was more detailed. Please log in to respond to this comment.NASA does play a good game I'll admit- they tell us what they think we want to hear, and keep the rest to themselves- these words from a retired astronaut were borne out repeatedly in the recent past; and probably will be in the future. The sad truth is that we don't know what the truth is, unless we find out inadvertently by some other way. But we may figure out what it is by knowing what its not...Please log in to respond to this comment.
There are so many ways that the Earth could become irreparably inhostile to humankind and that includes at our own hand. I have begun to look at the end of the world as I look at death. Why worry endlessly and/or needlessly about it. There is nothing, N-O-T-H-I-N-G, that anyone of us can do about it. I say keep a clean slate in your life, love your family and friends, keep everything in reasonable order, and roll with the punches. Work hard, occupy your mind, raise responsible children and enjoy life. Then if the end comes, or maybe only the private and personal end, all ends for that chapter of your life. Please log in to respond to this comment.
