BEFUDDLE is the Word That Explains The Virginia Tech Shooting!

Now call me crazy, but in criminal justice crimes have motives, usually.  Even random shootings have some purpose, either to get back at fellow employees, as seen in what has become known as "Going Postal", or to leave a large amount of dead bodies in a show of anger or retaliation.  This isn't a rival school, or sports drama, no drugs seem to be  involved, and there is not any knowledge that the suspect knew the campus policeman that he shot.

This shooting of a campus police officer in his car, who was doing a routine stop, which was NOT the shooter....and had no relation to the shooter is absurd. UNLESS the campus police officer was targeted intentionally (hit), however the so called shooter was not a student at Virginia Tech, but  a part time student at a nearby college.  The suspect, last name Ashley, who was found dead in a parking lot, after being spotted by another officer of the team....supposedly shot himself, as he went out of the officer's view. The gun was found at the scene in the lot where his body was found.

Now, even the news reports are claiming confusion over this particular shooting. I think it is bizarre, because Ashley had a backpack in a building (premeditated), where he took the time to change clothes.  Let me say this---a man who stops to change clothes so he can get away has no intention of committing suicide, that makes no sense to me; that he would just change his mind and shoot himself! Even mentally ill people don't change course that fast unless cornered....I'm not convinced on this yet.
Now there are some conflicting news reports, that Ashley took off some clothes; as opposed to bringing some clothes"; getting the FACTS BEFORE REPORTING would certainly help the rest of us! Befuddling!
The man saw him, and he wasn't cornered or even identified, and he ran toward the car he had stolen in the lot.

The suspect Ashley had a traffic ticket he was going to court for in February, 2012, but it had nothing to do with the campus police officer he killed.  The background of Ashley had no indication of this type of behavior in his past, that has been reported, that I know of.

Why?  Why does a young college student get up one day, and decide I am going over to Virginia Tech and kill a campus police officer, who has five children and is a family man?? If you want to murder a lot of people, then why not go to a classroom, auditorium full of people, or at least a gymnasium full of athletes.

Befuddled, shocked, and unconvinced that there is no motive here.  A change of clothes in a backpack left in a seperate building, to which he returned and did change clothes shows premeditation, but for what reason? What was his intented purpose in selecting that particular campus police officer, and then trying to leave campus by heading to the stolen car?

This investigation is not done.

I'm waiting for the rest of the story!
