Finally, Jerry Sandusky Arrested Again! No Judge Should Let Him Out!

Today is a victory for children, who have been victimized. Jerry Sandusky is finally arrested, for the second time, and hopefully he will not be allowed out before the hearing.  Sandusky's victims weren't murdered but some of them wish they had been, because they have to live with this horrible sexual molestation every day.

The ninth victim also was at Penn State, when Sandusky groomed him for sexual purposes.  The group Second Mile was how he came in contact with the former coach, and was taken to Sandusky's home and traumatized. This boy was taken to a summer camp, as part of the Second Mile program, and Sandusky approached him with gifts, attention, and money; and right in the Sandusky home with others around.

WE, the public, must demand that this man be convicted and placed out of the reach of children for the rest of his life.  Victim number ten is from Philadelphia, but victim number nine has done time in prison in Oklahoma. So many children who are neglected or abused end up in prison.  When research is done on the effects of parents negligence, sexual abuse, or physical abuse, it shows that those children are far more likely to end up in our prison system, than those who grow up in a relatively normal environment without abuse.

The number of victims now involved in the Sandusky case are ten.
Sexually abused victims are always hyper vigilant, that they might run into the perpetrator, and it terrorizes them on a regular basis....... PA STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS ON RAPE OF MINOR= 12 yrs, but does not start until minor is 18 yrs of age.
Number nine was victimized in 2004, so now we know from 1994-2010 there are constant instances of sexual abuse, and lots of times this victimization took place on the Penn State campus, or in Sandusky's home he shared with his wife.  There is, no doubt, many more victims, who have not come forth due to embarrassment, fear, or their own circumstances. Many are grown with families of their own.

The reason I am writing a lot about this is because we must demand that Justice be done for these victims.  Some of the laws in this nation need to be changed. Those states, who have not passed stricter laws for pedephiles with longer prison terms, need to reevaluate.  Child abuse crimes are on the rise, let's keep the focus on these criminals, and be the advocates that children need for protection. So many times the perpetrator is someone the family knows, or is involved in the child's life somehow.

Think about this, there are 40 counts of child abuse filed against Sandusky, before the two new victims came forward.  Now those are only those times, that they can actually identify, not the true number of abuses.  One boy in 2004 screamed for help in Sandusky's basement, and the wife never came. How did this boy feel, when no one stepped in to help when he yelled to get help.  Jerry Sandusky's victims were in the 10-12 age range.  This man needs to be held until trial, and with 10 victims filing against him, what does that really say?

I guess he made bond again--$250,000--he's out again and without an ankle bracelet where he could have been monitored 24-7!
